iHeartMedia Washington selects area president for Seattle and Spokane. | Story

Mark Glynn has been named Area President for iHeartMedia Washington. Glynn, who has served as market president for the company’s Seattle cluster, adds oversight of Spokane.

“Mark is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of success in the media industry,” division president Nick Gnau said in a news release. “Since the day I met him, his passion for his team and his ability to foster a collaborative and creative work environment has been effective and impressive, making him the perfect person to lead Spokane to the success he has in Seattle has achieved.”

Before serving in his role as market president, Glynn served as Senior Vice President of Sales for iHeartMedia Seattle.

“I am honored to lead iHeartMedia Washington,” Glynn noted. “In an era where audio is flourishing as a powerful medium, our brands in Seattle and Spokane are at the forefront, ready to continue our legacy of success. I am grateful for the support of our dedicated sales teams and leaders in both markets.”

iHeartMedia Washington owns and operates KJEB, KZOK, KBKS, KJAQ, KJR-AM/FM, KPTR and KHHO in Seattle, along with KKZX, KCDA, KHQ, KFOO, KZFS and KQNT in Spokane.
