In Trump’s victory speech: a shout-out to ‘Bobby’ Kennedy. What it could be

Washington:

Donald Trump’s victory speech included a shout-out to Robert F. Kennedy Junior, suggesting that he will play a major role in the Trump administration once it is established, provided he does not interfere in US oil exploration and drilling.

“Bobby, stay away from the liquid gold, Bobby. Other than that, go have a good time,” Trump said as he acknowledged the people who have supported him and been part of his campaign.

Robert F. Kennedy Junior or RFK, affectionately known as Bobby, as Robert is commonly called, is a politician, lawyer and activist. He was a strong voice for environmentalism, which is why Donald Trump told him to “stay away from the liquid gold (oil).”

“He wants to do some things and we’re going to let him do his thing,” Donald Trump said, adding that he will help “make America healthy again.” Although Trump has not specified or indicated a portfolio for Mr. Kennedy, it is likely that he will be in charge of Public Health. Mr. Kennedy also led his campaign with the slogan “Make America Healthy Again” – a slogan that was mentioned in Trump’s victory speech.

It would still be a surprise to many if an outspoken “anti-vaxxer” were put in charge of health care for all Americans. Mr. Kennedy has promoted wildly empty and scientifically false ideas about what he believes are the dangers of taking vaccines. It releases fluoride into drinking water.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a member of the Kennedy family, is a scion of America’s legendary political clan. He is the son of former US Attorney General and Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and a cousin of former US President John F. Kennedy and former Senator Ted Kennedy.

He originally stood for election as an independent candidate and polled four to five percent nationally. However, at the end of August he decided to withdraw from the race and support Donald Trump. He then campaigned with Trump in battleground states to gain support for him.

Kennedy Jr. is a controversial politician, as he has been both an anti-vaccine activist and a conspiracy theorist. His anti-vaccine group Children’s Health Defense is a leading proponent of COVID-19 vaccine misinformation.

Donald Trump also hinted at a role in his administration facing billionaire Elon Musk.
