India to play 11 against Sri Lanka

After winning the first two games, Team India will try to defeat Sri Lanka in the third game as well. India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I 2024 will take place on Tuesday, July 30. Suryakumar Yadav is the captain of India in the IND vs SL T20I series.

India won the 1st T20I by 43 runs and the 2nd T20I by 7 wickets. They completely dominated the home side in the first two games. Ahead of their next match, here is India’s predicted 11 players for the match.

Yashasvi Jaiswal

Yashasvi Jaiswal will be the opening batsman for the side. The left-handed batsman has hit knocks of 40 and 30 in both the games of the series.

Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson might be the other opener for the team in the next match. The right-handed batsman failed to score runs in the last match and was bowled out for a duck. Gill might miss the next match and Samson will open the side once more.

Suryakumar Yadav (center)

Suryakumar Yadav is the captain of India in the IND vs SL T20I series and will lead the side in the upcoming match. The right-handed batter has smashed stunning knocks of 58 and 26 in both the games.

Rishabh pants (WK)

Rishabh Pant will be seen donning the wicket-keeper’s role in the next match as well. The left-handed batsman had excelled with his 33-ball 49 in the opening match and added an unbeaten 2 in the last match.

Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya has been outstanding in the series so far, contributing with both bat and ball. The right-handed batsman smashed an unbeaten 22 runs from 9 balls in the last match and also picked up 2 wickets.

Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag didn’t get enough chance to show his power with the bat but he surprised everyone with his 3-wicket haul in the opening match. He will get another chance in the next match.

Shivam Dube

Shivam Dube could be picked by Team India in the next match to replace Rinku Singh. Since India has already won the series, they could give Dube a chance as he was benched in both the matches.

Axar Patel would be a great choice as a spin all-rounder for the side. The left-handed spinner took 2 wickets in both games to show a brilliant piece of bowling.

Arshdeep Singh will lead the pace attack for Team India with his left-arm hook. He was quite impressive in both the games, taking 2 wickets each at a decent economy of 8.0.

Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj will be another member of the pace department. The right-arm pacer picked up a wicket in the first match but went wicketless in the second. He did bowl a decent economy though.

Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi should dominate the spin department with his bowling as he made a big impact in both the matches. The right-handed spinner chased 3 wickets in the last match and 1 wicket in the opening match.
