While we’re not expecting a new version of the AirPods Pro just yet, we’d love to see a refresh of the AirPods Max, and rumors from Bloomberg and 9to5Mac give us hope we’ll see a new pair. We loved the sound and ANC performance of the original AirPods Max, but the weight, fit, charging, and case could all benefit from improvements. We’re hoping for a lighter design, USB-C charging, a high-resolution internal amp/DAC, reduced clamping force, a power button, and an improved case.
