A Brief Guide to Apple Intelligence: Apple’s Own AI Platform

Apple is finally entering the AI race with the launch of Apple Intelligence, its own AI platform.

The company describes the new software as a “personal intelligence system that puts powerful generative models at the heart of your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.”

New features on the platform include generative writing and image creation tools, the ability to create custom emojis (or Genmoji), and major improvements to Siri.

Apple’s foray into AI began with the introduction of its digital assistant Siri in 2011. But since then, the company has lagged behind competitors like Amazon and Google.

However, with the launch of Apple Intelligence, the company aims to make its mark on the ‘conscious AI’ market.
