Jacksonville Jaguars expect TE Evan Engram to return against Bears

The Jaguars expect Evan Engram to return to action on Sunday against the Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after missing four games due to a hamstring injury suffered in the hours before kickoff in Week 2, according to Jacksonville head coach Doug Pederson.

“(Engram has) been a good trend,” Pederson said after the Jaguars’ Saturday practice at The Grove, outside London. “He’s had a good week of practice, so I’d like to see him play in this game.”

Engram was listed as a limited participant in daily practice this week and last.

Engram caught one pass over four targets for five yards in Jacksonville’s season opener against Miami, an unusual showing for the star right guard after leading the Jaguars with 114 receptions in 2023, the second-most in a single season in franchise history.

Through two seasons and one game with the Jaguars, Engram has racked up 188 receptions for 1,734 yards and eight touchdowns. He has hauled in 450 passes for 4,562 yards and 24 touchdowns in his career.

Jacksonville vs. Chicago kicks off on Sunday at 9:30am ET/2:30pm BST.
