    DETROIT – When Jared Goff threw five interceptions last week, the Detroit Lions attributed it to a clumsy play and how the ball sometimes bounces.

    They never wavered in their belief that the quarterback’s play remained at a high level. And then Goff and the offense set a ridiculous number of records in their 52-6 thrashing of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
