The Boston Celtics dropped their second game of the season on Wednesday, ultimately falling to the Golden State Warriors in brutal fashion. They climbed all the way back after a rough first half, but a series of offensive rebounds by Golden State closed the door on a Celtics comeback. Now they welcome the Brooklyn Nets to TD Garden on Friday.

Brooklyn has been one of the surprises of the NBA season so far. They weren’t great, but considering most thought they would be one of the worst teams in the league, they were solid. The Nets have opened the season 4-4 and head to TD Garden hoping to upset the Celtics.

Here are the injury reports for the Celtics’ game against the Nets on Friday, November 8.

Kristaps Porzingis remains out. He underwent offseason surgery to repair a rare foot injury he suffered in the NBA Finals. The big man is expected to return sometime in or around December.

On the other hand, Jaylen Brown a more recent addition is the injury report. Friday night against the Nets will mark the fourth straight game he misses due to a hip problem.

Brown is dealing with a left hip flexor strain, and he reportedly underwent an MRI for it (a second one, as he reportedly got this summer). Joe Mazzulla said neither he nor Brown are overly concerned about the condition.

Around the start of the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Warriors, the Celtics were in control Lucas Kornet disabled due to right hamstring strain. Now he’s listed as questionable heading into Friday’s game against the Nets.

Noah Clowney is dealing with an illless, so it’s doubtful he’ll be in the game on Friday night.

In the meantime, Bojan Bogdanovic, Hello Ron SharpeAnd Trendon Watford won’t play against the Celtics. Bogdanovic has a foot problem and has not played a match yet this year. Neither Sharpe nor Watford have played in a match yet this season.
