Toby Keith was just remembered by many different country music artists NBC‘s long-awaited tribute concert.

Although there were many sentimental moments, the program was mainly about celebrating the memory of the American soldier crooner, who died of stomach cancer on February 5, 2024 in his hometown of Oklahoma.

Among them, Lainey Wilson took the stage with a memorable entrance as the Heart like a truck singer appeared at the back of the arena on the back of Cowboy, the horse she rode as a co-star in the hit TV drama, Yellowstone.

Wilson stepped off and joined Jamey Johnson for a duet of the song, befitting her entrance, that is, Beer for my horses.

Meanwhile, it was rising country artist Jelly Roll who moved the entire audience to tears, including Keith’s son, Stelen Covel, when he announced the song, My list.

In response to the lyrics: “I won’t break my back for a million dollars / I can’t take it to my grave / So why put off until tomorrow / What I can get done today,” Save me hitmaker shared how the late musician “inspired me to be a better father” and dedicated the track to Keith’s family.
