Last night, the 2024 Governor Awards, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, had a star-studded turnout in Hollywood. Considered the first major event to kick off awards season, a slew of A-listers (many of whom are contenders for the 2025 Oscars) attended the event in grand style. On the red carpet, stars such as Angelina Jolie, Selena Gomez, Colman Domingo, Saoirse Ronan and Jennifer Lawrence saw impeccable evening wear. But it was Lawrence who turned heads in her flowing bodycon dress, redefining what maternity fashion can and should look like.

Lawrence’s brown sleeveless Bottega Veneta design featured gold hardware accents and was draped in all the right places; It matches the star’s current stealthily-chic wardrobe. (See: her Alaïa LBD). With its curve-hugging silhouette, the Bottega number proudly showed off her baby bump and proved that an expectant mother’s style can be comfortable And sexy. (Lawrence also wore a vintage Christian Lacroix dress earlier this week — she’s on a roll!) Her gold accents, like the Ana Khouri jewelry and woven gold Bottega clutch, complemented the look perfectly. She was one of the best dressed of the evening.
