“Sean HannityGod bless him. The dumber Trump gets, the deeper Sean digs to turn dumb into smart,” Kimmel said.

He played one clamp from Hannity who responded to Trump’s garbage collector stunt, saying, “This may go down in history as an iconic, epic moment that we will remember for a long time.”

“Oh yes. Epic, iconic, all those things,” Kimmel scoffed. “Washington crossed the Delaware, Trump hitched a ride in a garbage truck.”

Kimmel added: “I have to say, if there’s one image that we look back on and say, ‘this defines what America was going through in 2024,’ I think it would be the Republican candidate for president dancing to the song. ‘YMCA’ in a garbage man costume.”

“That vest comes in handy when he’s standing along the highway picking up trash with the other inmates,” Kimmel joked as he gestured a prayer.

Hannity wasn’t the only right-wing pundit Kimmel ran into on Thursday. He also showed one clamp by Tucker Carlsons recent interview in which he repeatedly declared that vice presidential candidate Tim Walz was gay.

“If that’s not the pot calling the kettle,” Kimmel replied. “I just thought it was really interesting coming from a guy whose screensaver is a close-up Vladimir Putin’s nipples.”
