“This mess is a serious problem for (Trump),” Kimmel noted. “He is facing a storm of anger from the Latino population. But instead of apologizing, which he doesn’t, he talked about it with a well-known advocate of racial tolerance. Sean Hannity.”

Kimmel played one interview clip of Trump telling Hannity, “I’ve done more for Puerto Rico than any president I think has ever been president… Every time I go out I see someone from Puerto Rico, they give me a hug and a kiss.”

“Yeah, that definitely happens every time he goes outside,” Kimmel joked.

Referring to Trump’s controversial response When Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico in 2017, Kimmel added: “He has a point: No president in history has had more roles with paper towels against the Puerto Rican people than Donald Trump.”
