People magazine has named John Krasinski the Sexiest Man Alive of 2024.

Krasinski was revealed as the latest winner of the honor on Tuesday’s episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” The publication also shared a photo of the new cover on social media.

During the reveal, host Stephen Colbert reacted angrily because he didn’t get the coveted title. Krasinski then appeared on screen to comfort Colbert, saying, “It’s okay, you’re not the sexiest man in the world, but who cares?” Who is? Except me, apparently.”

Krasinski then appeared in a hilarious video, styled like an ’80s infomercial, in which he taught Colbert tips on how to be sexy.

The video featured a cameo from former Sexiest Man Alive Chris Evans.

Krasinski is best known for playing Jim Halpert on “The Office” for nine seasons. He also directed and starred in the 2018 film ‘A Quiet Place’ alongside his wife, actress Emily Blunt, and directed the sequel in 2020.

He also played the role of Jack Ryan in the Prime Video TV series “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” from 2018 to 2023. A film based on the series was announced last month.

Krasinski joked that when he told Blunt about his sexy performance, he couldn’t understand what she was saying because “there was so much laughter on the other end of the line.”

Krasinski takes over the title from “Greys Anatomy” star Patrick Dempsey, who was crowned the Sexiest Man Alive in 2023.
