Jude Law says house from ‘The Holiday’ ‘doesn’t exist’

Jude Law has some disappointing news for fans of “The Holiday”!

During an interview with BBC Radio on Sunday, the actor who played Graham in the 2006 romantic comedy revealed that the Rosehill cottage from “The Holiday” is not real.

When the host asked if anyone could use the house via AirBnb, Law replied: “That house doesn’t exist… oooh yes.”

Law then explained that the film’s director, Nancy Meyers, is “a bit of a perfectionist.”

“She traveled all over the area and couldn’t quite find the chocolate house she was looking for,” he said. “So she just rented a field, drew it and had someone build it.”

Going into more behind-the-scenes details about the film’s production, Law continued, “So here’s the funny thing, when you look at it… We were out here filming in the winter. And every time I walk through that door went, we’d cut, and about three months later we shot the interiors in LA.

When the hosts jokingly protested, calling the revelation “disturbing” and something they “couldn’t stomach,” Law playfully responded, “Just burst the bubble.” Sorry!’

Law co-starred with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Jack Black in “The Holiday,” a heartwarming story about two women who swap homes during the Christmas season to escape heartbreak.

The film has since become a beloved holiday staple. When asked how he feels about fans rewatching the film every year, Law described it as “honestly, just glorious.”
