‘Karate Kid’ actor, son of Steve McQueen, was 63

Chad McQueen, who followed his father Steve McQueen’s example in acting and car racing and played the bully Dutch in the first two Karate child films, has died. He was 63.

When Chad was 19, he died in November 1980 of a heart attack after a battle with cancer at the age of 50. His other child, daughter Terry, died in 1998 at the age of 38.
