Kate Moss, one of the most iconic supermodels of the ’90s, made her long-awaited debut on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show catwalk in New York on Tuesday during the brand’s 2024 presentation. Despite her long career in fashion, this was Moss’s first appearance for the legendary runway show. Known for her work with leading luxury brands and high-fashion editorials, Moss’ participation added a layer of excitement.

For her runway look, Moss wore a daring ensemble. She wore a sheer black lace slip dress layered over a black bodysuit with strategic stomach cutouts. The slip dress’s intricate lace design gave her look a classic touch, while the cutouts added a contemporary, eye-catching element. To complete her look, Moss wore a pair of large angel wings with black feathers, a signature of the Victoria’s Secret show, giving her an ethereal yet commanding presence on the runway.

Moss was in good company, walking alongside fellow supermodel icons returning to the Victoria’s Secret runway, including Carla Bruni, Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima. The show served as a tribute to supermodels past and present, uniting a group of women who have helped shape the fashion industry over the years.

Making the evening even more important, just before Kate Moss hit the runway, her daughter, Lila Moss, made her own Victoria’s Secret debut. Lila made her runway debut with Miu Miu in 2020. The mother-daughter moment on the Victoria’s Secret runway wasn’t the first time they shared the runway; in 2021, the duo walked together at Kim Jones’ Fendi haute couture show in spring 2021.

After a six-year hiatus, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back. The 2024 spectacle will be broadcast live on Prime Video and on the brand’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok channels. Former Angels like Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Taylor Hill walk the runway alongside new faces like Paloma Elsesser and Devyn Garcia. Cher, Tyla and Lisa from Blackpink are the musical guests of the evening.
