Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano Scorecards: Who Won Every Round of Uncontested Fights

Katie Taylor defeated Amanda Serrano by the narrowest of margins to retain her undisputed light-welterweight title on Friday in Texas.

The rematch lasted the entire 10 rounds, as both women delivered another all-time classic to somehow top their original match in 2022.

Taylor got the nod from all three judges, who each scored 95-94 for the Irish woman.

Serrano and her team were very unhappy with the result, as a points deduction for Taylor in the eighth round did not win the match for the Puerto Rican.

The three ringside judges were Canadian Jeremy Hayes and Americans Nathan Palmer and Jesse Reyes.

On social media, world champions Claressa Shields, Terence Crawford and Shakur Stevenson all thought Taylor was a close winner, but at ringside the crowd and commentary team were in Serrano’s corner.

Serrano described the scorecards as “shady” while Taylor dismissed the boos that sounded as she gave her post-fight speech.

The judges didn’t quite see the fight the same way, with only four of the ten rounds being scored unanimously.
