Her latest album features an all-female team of album collaborators, including producer Alysa Vanderheym, Songwriters Hall of Famer Hillary Lindsey, Grammy Songwriter of the Year nominee Jessie Jo Dillon and Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild.

Emotional ballads already dominate Ballerini’s releases from the album.

Ballerini’s latest mid-tempo country pop ballad, ‘Sorry Mom’, highlights how much deeper the artist is willing to delve into himself as an artist after the unexpected success of 2023’s ‘Rolling Up The Welcome Mat’.

The outspoken “Sorry Mom” – described as “a blessing for mothers, daughters, sons and even friends who offer the tough love but never stop loving the dreamer chasing a life they don’t understand” – joins the Noah Kahan duet ‘Cowboys’. Cry Too,” some of what Shania Twain, in a TIME 100 feature on Ballerini in 2023, called “brave,” “vulnerable” and “smart” songwriting.
