Less than a day after Chet Holmgren’s deflating hip fracture, help has arrived for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Kenrich Williams will make his 2024-25 season debut against the LA Clippers on Monday. He was not listed on the Thunder’s injury report.

Considering how thin the Thunder’s frontcourt is, the 29-year-old will be paraded for his return. In September he underwent knee surgery.

He has spent the past two months recovering from the operation. Williams performed a pregame warm-up at home for the first time following OKC’s loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Isaiah Hartenstein (broken hand) and Jaylin Williams (hamstring injury) remain out. Williams has timed his return perfectly. He’ll have a chance to get some starting reps considering how depleted the Thunder’s center position is.
