After a period of scoring prolific goals in the Scottish lower leagues with Raith Rovers and Dunfermline Athletic, Nisbet joined Hibs in 2020.

He scored 39 goals in 101 appearances for the Leith club before moving to Millwall last summer.

Since making his debut for Scotland in 2021, the striker has made 11 international appearances, scoring once, but has not featured in recent squads.

Nisbet has been injured frequently over the past two seasons, but returned at the end of last season and came on as a second-half substitute in Millwall’s opening match against Watford earlier this month.

The attacker would be tasked with filling the void left by Bojan Miovski, who recently left Aberdeen for a club-record fee to join Girona.
