    Krispy Kreme is offering free donuts for World Kindness Day

    Arizonans have long known that Krispy Kreme will hand out a free donut when the red hot light comes on. But on Wednesday, November 13, the donut chain is giving out a dozen original glazed donuts for free.

    The first 500 customers in each store will receive the free dozen, with no purchase required, in honor of World Kindness Day

    “World Kindness Day reminds us that we can all have a positive impact on people’s lives, even through small gestures like sharing a sweet treat,” said Dave Skena, Chief Brand Officer of Krispy Kreme, in a press release.

    Krispy Kreme, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, also announced last Thursday that it will have four new donut flavors for Thanksgiving, including an apple crumble donut and a chocolate silk cake donut.

    According to the company, there are eight Krispy Kreme stores in Arizona. Many open at 5:30 am

    • Phoenix: 3607 E. Bell Road
