The Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers are ranked ninth in Division Four in the latest wissports.net girls volleyball coaches rankings, which were released Tuesday.

It’s the debut for MLHS, which has won three of its first five games this week against strong opponents.

Valley Christian (Oshkosh) is ranked 10th in D-4, while another Oshkosh school, Lourdes Academy, received an honorable mention.

Manitowoc Lincoln did not play a game last week and fell out of the Division One standings. Bayport of The FRCC jumps from honorable mention to sixth, with Kimberly earning an honorable mention.

Sheboygan Christian and Green Bay NEW Lutheran each moved up one spot in Division Five from last week to sit in second and third place, respectively.

Despite an overall score of 1 and 5, the Howards Grove Tigers still receive an honourable mention in Division Two, reflecting the competition they played against.

St. Mary Catholic (Fox Crossing) dropped five spots, from fifth to 10th in the third division, with Bonduel receiving votes.

Finally, in Division Two, Luxemburg Casco and Fox Valley Lutheran (Appleton) remain in first and second place, respectively. Waupaca is in eighth place and Oconto Falls is in ninth place.

In the boys’ coaches poll, Kimberly is ranked third and Appleton North is ranked ninth.
