Las Vegas Raiders @ Miami Dolphins Open live discussion and game information

After an ugly stretch of three games that seemed winnable, but which our Miami Dolphins lost, they came back this past weekend and played a complete game. By a complete game, I mean the offense looked solid, as did the defense in the same game against the Los Angeles Rams. After traveling across the country for a primetime matchup, the Dolphins returned home with a much-needed 23 to 15 win. Despite the excitement created by a solid win, the Phins will now have to put together a winning streak to get any hope to stay in the playoffs this season, making today’s match another “must-win.”

Miami’s opponent this afternoon, the Las Vegas Raiders, started the season with high expectations of making the playoffs. The Raiders even went out this offseason and made some spectacular moves, including signing former Miami Dolphin defensive tackle Christian Wilkins to a massive contract. The Raiders have almost fallen on their faces this season. Some of that is due to a series of injuries, but I expect there will undoubtedly be some significant changes to the front office and coaching staff this offseason. The Raiders are on a five-game losing streak, including their 41-24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last weekend.
