Liam Payne’s ex Maya Henry accused the former One Direction singer of repeatedly contacting her and her family members days before his death.

The model’s lawyers sent a cease and desist order to her ex-fiancé on her behalf, the Daily Mail reported on Monday.

“Maya Henry imposed a cease and desist order on Liam Payne last week following the emergence of new and worrying information,” her legal team told the newspaper.

“She has retained attorneys Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna to represent her. At this time, that is her only comment on the matter.”

Page Six has reached out to Henry’s reps for comment.

Earlier this month, the 23-year-old claimed in a TikTok video that Payne had gone to great lengths to contact her following their bitter breakup, including “weaponizing” his fanbase against her.

“Since we broke up he’s been messaging me and blowing up my phone, not just from his phone number, it’s always from different phone numbers too so I never know where it’s going to come from,” Henry claimed.

“He’s creating new iCloud accounts for iMessage; it’s always a damn new iCloud account. Every time I see one pop up on my phone I think, “Here we go again.”

She further claimed, “Also, (he) will email me… not just me, but he will blow up my mom’s phone. Is that normal behavior for you?”

The former couple started dating in 2018 after Payne called it quits with Cheryl Cole.

He then proposed to Henry in 2020, but they ended their engagement in April 2022 after she claimed he cheated on her.

Payne died on Wednesday at the age of 31 after reportedly falling from the third floor of his hotel room in Argentina.

Several witnesses at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires confirmed the fall to TMZ, which reported that the singer’s body was discovered on the hotel’s wooden deck.

It remains unclear whether the fall was accidental or intentional.
