Liam Payne’s loved ones gathered for his funeral and mourned the singer a month after his death. Payne’s One Direction bandmates – Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson – attended the service, People reported, in a 12th century church northwest of London. Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, was in attendance, as were his ex, Cheryl Cole, with whom he shared a son, and his parents, Geoff and Karen, according to “Page Six.” Simon Cowell, who discovered One Direction The X factorand James Corden, a friend of the band, were also seen at the funeral. The service follows Payne’s death on October 16 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. At the time, One Direction members remembered Payne as “our brother”, while Cowell said he was “truly devastated” by the loss. Cassidy, who was in Argentina with Payne before his death, said: “I will love you for the rest of my life.”
