Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy mourned her boyfriend’s death at his private funeral on Wednesday.

Cassidy joined Payne’s other close friends and family to mourn the former One Direction member’s death as he was laid to rest at a private service outside London.

The influencer wore a black turtleneck, black pants and a black jacket with fur trim. She wore black heels, black sunglasses and carried a black bag.

Cassidy was seen walking into the private service with Elizabeth Hurley’s son, Damian Hurley.

Payne’s former bandmates – Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson – were later spotted shortly after Cassidy and Hurley.

Payne died on October 16 after falling from three floors from his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31.

Shortly after Payne’s tragic death, Cassidy took to social media to publicly mourn her boyfriend’s death.

“Thank you for all the kind words and love sent to me. I am completely at my wits end,” she wrote in her Instagram Story two days after his death. “Nothing about the past few days felt real. I ask and pray that you give me the grace and space to deal with this privately.”

Cassidy then addressed her “angel” and called Payne her “everything.”

“I want you to know that I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam,” she continued.

A week after Payne’s death, she took to Instagram again to reflect on their relationship and even revealed that they planned to spend their lives together.

“A few weeks ago we sat outside on a beautiful evening and manifested our lives together,” she wrote. “I’ll keep your note handy even though you told me not to look at it. It said: ‘Kate and I will be married in a year/engaged and together forever 444.’”

Cassidy referenced a handwritten note Payne gave her that she also included in the tribute.

“You will always be with me,” she continued. “I got a guardian angel.”

Cassidy and Payne traveled to Argentina for two weeks. However, Cassidy decided to leave and return to Florida just two days before Payne’s tragic death.

The singer and the influencer started dating in October 2022.
