It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer for a Linkin Park announcement.

On Saturday, the “Numb” rockers launched a countdown clock that started at 100 hours, with no context as to what they were counting down to. However, when the clock finally hit zero shortly after 2:15 p.m. ET on Wednesday, the screen froze before beginning the countdown again.

When the clock counts down to 100 again, that will be around 6:15 PM ET on Sunday.

Linkin Park also reposted the currently running clock on Instagram, with the caption: “It’s only a matter of time.”

What Linkin Park expects/is looking forward to is unknown, but there have been rumors of a possible reunion tour following the death of frontman Chester Bennington. In April, Billboard reported that members Mike Schinoda, Brad Delson And Dave “Phoenix” Farrell are considering reuniting for performances in 2025, possibly with a female vocalist to replace Bennington.

Fan speculation was also on the agenda Sum 41‘S Deryck Whibleywho teased that he would make an announcement on Wednesday around the same time the first countdown would hit zero. He later clarified that his news had nothing to do with it and that he would not be joining Linkin Park.
