Chinese Taipei emerged victorious in the international bracket with a 4-1 victory over Venezuela. On the American side, Florida defeated Texas in a dramatic 10-7 victory.

Chinese Taipei’s dominance did not come to a standstill in the International Championship either.

Another strong performance from pitcher Lai Cheng-Xi led the team to a 4-1 victory.

Chinese Taipei scored runs in the first, third and fifth innings. This despite giving up only three hits. Cheng-Xi pitched 5.1 innings, allowing only three hits and one run, while striking out 12.

Chinese Taipei qualifies for the final for the first time since 2009.

Florida was constantly falling behind, but never out.

The Lake Mary boys avenged an earlier loss to Southwest with a 10-7 victory to win the U.S. title. Florida trailed 4-0 after three innings and entered the fifth inning trailing 4-1. However, heroics in the final two innings led the team to nine runs and a victory.
