• Donald Trump is expected to become the 47th US president, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in a close race.
• The Associated Press declared him the winner early Wednesday after his win in Wisconsin put him over the 270 threshold needed to capture the presidency.

NEW YORK – The Fox News Decision Desk predicts that Donald Trump will become the 47th president of the United States.

Trump is the second president in American history to win non-consecutive terms. The first was Grover Cleveland.

The Associated Press also declared him the winner on Wednesday after he won Wisconsin, which gave him 277 electoral votes.

Trump, 78, will begin his second term early next year after losing his first re-election bid to President Joe Biden in 2020.
