The Kansas City Chiefs travel to Georgia to take on the Atlanta Falcons in a Week 3 “Sunday Night Football” showdown. The Chiefs and Falcons have met just 10 times in their history, with the reigning Super Bowl champions holding a 7-3 series advantage, including winning the last two meetings.

The Chiefs got off to a 2-0 start after beating the Ravens by a touchdown in Week 1, but needed a fourth-down penalty and a last-second field goal to beat the Bengals in Week 2. Meanwhile, the Falcons are 1-1 on the season after losing 18-10 to the Steelers in Week 1 and then pulling off a fantastic last-minute comeback against the Eagles in Week 2.

Betting line and choice of game

Kansas City is the favorite in this matchup and the folks at FanDuel Sportsbook have the betting line at Chiefs -3.5 points.

As fun as it was to watch the Falcons surprise the Eagles in Philadelphia, I’m not sure I agree with them pulling off a major upset two weeks in a row. The Chiefs are finding ways to win now, and I think they’ll come out of this game 3-0.
