Live updates on Trump transition: Waltz under eye as national security adviser, sources say

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. signaled this weekend that he would lay off 600 employees at the National Institutes of Health and replace them with a new crop of employees as he seeks to dramatically overhaul America’s health agencies.

Speaking at the Genius Network Annual Event in Scottsdale, Arizona, Kennedy described his role in vetting people for Donald Trump’s new administration.

“We have to move quickly and we want to have those people on the ground by January 20 so that on January 21 we have 600 people walking into the NIH offices and 600 people leaving,” Kennedy said. according to a video of his comments on YouTube.
