Nebraska sophomore Andi Jackson continues to add to her impressive stats with yet another kill! Jackson has piled up five blocks and six kills so far tonight.

7-2 for Nebraska.

Nebraska’s 7-0 scoring streak, combined with six blocks in the third set, gave the team a 2-1 lead.

Setter Bergen Reilly worked her middles to give the Huskers a few more kills on the board. However, they still trail Kentucky in total kills, 40-34.

Kentucky calls time in the third set after racking up 13 service errors compared to Nebraska’s five. The Wildcats trail Nebraska 10-6 to start the set.

Even a 23-23 score couldn’t deter Skinner. The Kentucky head coach gave and won his second challenge to give his team set point. That momentum carried the Wildcats to their first set win in tonight’s match.

Nebraska led by as many as five points in the second set and despite some service errors from Kentucky, the Cats took a 1-1 victory.

Kentucky now has more shots than the Huskers (.244 to .197).

Kentucky head coach Craig Skinner challenged whether the ball fell to Nebraska libero Lexi Rodriguez. After he made a pancake dive, the challenge was decided in favor of Rodriguez and the Huskers after a replay was viewed.

Rodriguez has collected a total of six digs so far.

Kentucky kept things exciting, tying the score with the Huskers five times in the first set alone.
