Um … I do not know how to dress this up so I will just say that is one of the worst goals to concede … From a corner, Osimhen heads the ball to the far post. Baba Rahman is there and he just … kicks the ball into his own net. I guess there was just too much power on it and the PAOK player was unable to control it but still, very comical.

Saka seemingly gets the better of the entire Bolton team and their bench on the right hand side before a straight cross in. It is deflected to Sterling, who opens his Arsenal account with an easy finish.

Some groans ring out as Jones holds on to the ball for a touch to long but those fans swallow the noise as he does well to get through the white shirts. His touch through the legs of Kilman is perfect and it finds Jota. And from there, it is obvious that the Portuguese would not miss from close range.

One minute you’re on the ropes and the next you’re scoring. From an Arsenal corner, Bolton break and Collins races through, easily having the legs on Jorginho. He takes his time to round Porter, and is able to make the space for himself to score into an open net.

I am very confused as to why Jorginho is the last man on a counter, but I digress. Bolton celebrate mildly and gesture to the away support to make their voices heard.

Moments after the start of the second half, Botlon play out from the back … and fail to bypass Arsenal’s press. So sloppy as Rice picks up the ball and lays it off to Nwaneri who is through on goal. It is not a great finish but the ball rolls under the keeper and into the net. The visitors played right into the hands of Arteta’s men there.

A well-worked goal at the Allianz Riviera! Nice get some short passes through to the box despite the abundance of yellow shirts and Rosario quickly spots the opening and hits a low drive to equalise.

Fantastic finish! Andersson, near the halfway line, finds Osorio on the right. From about 30 yards out, the Chilean cuts back and rips one in at the far post.

The visitors counter and the ball finds on the right. The angle is tight but he takes a spinning shot, with the ball hitting the roof of the net on it’s way in. Great finish!

Lazio running riot! Dele-Bashiru crosses it into the box and Dia, who is somehow left completely unmarked, heads the Italian side’s third.

Lovely finish from Dele-Bashiru, who shrugs off Tymchyk as he speeds ahead and lifts the ball over Bushchan into the top corner.

Arsenal end the half with a clever free-kick but they can’t find the target. The whistle blows and Arsenal are halfway done with the job after finishes from Rice and Nwaneri.

A quick response! Gakpo gets the ball on the left and he waits until the red shirts come flying forward. He picks out Chiesa who attempts a sideways bicycle kick. His attempt finds a leaping Jota, who does what he does best, and heads home.

Arsenal speed on to the attack and Sterling’s perfect low cross finds the teenager, who hits home his first goal for the Gunners. The home side are in cruise control.

What a mess! From a West Ham corner, Liverpool enter panic mode as they try to clear the ball. Cresswell does well to keep it alive and when Endo tries to clear the ball hits the 21-year-old Quansah and pings into the net.

Fantastic attack from the Spanish side. The break away and Méndez finds Barrenetxea in acres of space, who takes a first time shot that fires into the top right corner

Awful defending from the home side. The ball pings around in the box but it is a flurry of yellow shirts that get on the end of each pass and the Senegalese surges forward, gets the ball on his right and nets a low goal past Bushchan.

Bolton had to have known that Arsenal will punish any mistakes. Arfield completely misses the ball and it falls to Rice, who takes a touch before striking low past Southwood.

Chiesa starts for the first time since signing from Juventus in the summer. Núñez is given his second start in a row up front after scoring for the first time since March at the weekend.

The Hammers have had a sluggish start to the season and will hope that tonight can be a turning point. Ings gets the nod against his former side alongside Bowen and Summerville, who both started on the weekend.

The first-choice Raya is being assessed after the league game against Manchester City, second-choice, Neto, is cup‑tied, having played for Bournemouth in round two while the third-choice, Tommy ­Setford, is injured.

Quite a few changes from the side’s 5-2 win against Reading, which moved them up to 19th in League One.
