Marjorie Taylor Greene slams Trump pal Laura Loomer for ‘extremely racist’ post about Kamala Harris

MAGA stalwart Marjorie Taylor Greene on Wednesday lashed out at far-right agitator Laura Loomer, accusing the failed congressional candidate of racism and misrepresenting the Republican Party over a post about Kamala Harris that included racist stereotypes about South Asians.

On September 8, Loomer, a self-described “proud Islamophobe” who was once banned from Twitter for anti-Muslim comments, claimed in response to a post by Harris featuring photos of a childhood visit to India: “If @KamalaHarris victories, the White House will smell like curry and White House speeches will be routed through a call center and the American people will only be able to provide their feedback through a customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call that no one will understand.”

“This is abhorrent and extremely racist,” Georgia Rep. Greene said in response to X. “It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA. This does not represent President Trump. This type of behavior should never be tolerated.”

Louder than dismissed back, called Greene a “raging anti-Semite” and claimed her post was a “funny joke about Kamala Harris” that “used her Indian mother as a way to dodge questions.”

Both women have long been accused of spreading hate. These accusations have not stopped either woman from receiving praise from Donald Trump.

Loomer has made hateful comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar, who was born in Somalia, and once called for a new taxi service that excludes Muslims.

The far-right personality unsuccessfully ran for Congress in Florida in 2022 and has been praised by Donald Trump on several occasions.

She even flew with Trump to the presidential debate on Tuesday and was with him the next day.

Greene has her own history of inflammatory comments, including spreading conspiracies about 9/11, the Parkland shooting and claiming before she was elected that a prominent Jewish banking family had used a space laser to start fires in California.

She also accused Congresswomen Omar and Rashida Tlaib, who are both Muslim, of not being “truly official” members of Congress because they did not take their oath of office based on a Bible.

“I really want to talk to these ladies and ask them what they think and why they serve in our American government,” Greene said. “They really should go back to the Middle East.”

Greene’s history of inflammatory claims prompted Democrats to strip her of her committee positions in 2021.

Greene has been a longtime ally of Trump, regularly appearing at his campaign rallies, including an event in June where she compared the former president to Jesus Christ.

Trump, in turn, regularly mocks Harris for her race, deliberately mispronouncing her name and accusing Harris — whose father is from Jamaica, attended an HBCU and joined one of the country’s largest black sororities — of only deciding to “black up” in recent days.
