Matthew’s stepfather, “Dateline’s” Keith Morrisonhis mother, Suzanne Morrisonalong with 3 of his sisters, sat down with “Today’s” Savannah Guthrie to reveal what they believe were critical factors Matthew’s death.

Madelineone of Matthew’s sisters, made it clear that Matthew may not have even been aware that he had relapsed. He came out of a period of sobriety during and after his book tour and used ketamine for therapeutic purposes. Perry then started getting ketamine on the black market, taking huge doses himself.

The family talked about Matthew being strong-willed and strong-willed, and also that he was essentially a lonely person who was struggling.
