An ardent favorite is back among the Golden Arches.

McDonald’s confirmed to TODAY.com that its Spicy Chicken McNuggets will be available at participating restaurants in the U.S. for a limited time beginning November 4. The menu item is already on the chain’s website and is available in sizes 6, 10, 20 and 40. piece sizes.

In its statement, McDonald’s said: “Want to add some spice to your life? Well, you’re in luck: Spicy Chicken McNuggets are returning to the menu in select local markets, including Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, New York and more!

Spicy Chicken McNuggets are a fiery take on the chain’s classic Chicken McNuggets, with a tempura coating seasoned with a mix of cayenne and chili peppers.

McDonald’s says the limited-time item has been a popular item that has been returned multiple times since its introduction in 2020. In March of this year, the chain quietly brought back the spicy poultry for a limited time. From 2022, the nuggets became a regional limited-time offering.

McDonald’s declined to comment on whether it was considering permanently adding the item to its menus.

Still, Spicy McNugget fans online are pleading with the chain to stop snatching the item from their hands.

“Hey @McDonalds, never run out of spicy chicken McNuggets again,” one X user wrote. “Thank you.”

“Petition to make spicy chicken nuggets permanent,” wrote another.

“They should leave this on the menu,” someone commented on Instagram.

“KEEP THIS PERMANENTLY,” another begged. “These with their ranch are euphoric.”
