Over the summer, Good provided more insight into her relationship with Majors — and shared her response to anyone who had doubts about their relationship.

“I definitely take everyone’s opinion and advice into account, but at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life,” she said on the July 9 episode Today. ‘I am the one who has to go to heaven one day praying and answering to God for what I have done. So I want to be responsible for the choices I make. I also want to live the life I want to live.”

“The support that we were able to give each other, the pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care and the thoughtfulness,” Good later added, “it was really amazing.”
