The Mega Millions Jackpot rose to an estimated $800 million after no tickets matched the winning numbers in Friday night’s drawing.

The winning numbers drawn on Friday were 6, 23, 41, 59 and 63 with a Mega Ball of 25. The Megaplier was 2X.

No one won the estimated $740 million jackpot on Friday night, but five players — one each in California, Florida, Illinois, New Hampshire and Texas — matched all five white balls to win $1 million, while another player in Ohio matched all five white balls and hit the optional Megaplier to win $2 million.

The next Mega Millions drawing will take place on Tuesday, with players attempting to win the estimated top prize of $800 million, which is a cash option of $401.8 million.

If won on Tuesday, it will be the seventh prize in size.

Winners typically choose the cash prize rather than the annuity, which is paid in one lump sum followed by 29 annual payments.

According to the game, the odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 302,575,350.

The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was won was on June 4, when a player in Illinois matched all six numbers to take home a prize of $552 million. It’s the 10th-largest jackpot in the game’s history.

The record jackpot of $1.602 billion was won in Florida on August 8, 2023.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states, plus Washington, DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The deadline for buy a ticket is 9:45 PM on the evening of the draws on Tuesday and Friday.
