    The Mega Millions jackpot from Friday’s drawing rose to an estimated $627 million after no one won the top prize on Tuesday.

    The winning numbers were drawn just after 11:00 p.m. ET on Friday. Below are the results.

    According to the lottery, one lucky player would have taken home an estimated one-time payout of $309.4 million after taxes if he won the jackpot on Friday.

    Two people have won the Mega Millions jackpot this year: in March when a player from New Jersey won a whopping $1.13 billion, and in June when a player from Illinois won $552 million.

    The winning numbers for Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot are: 10, 17, 20, 24, 54 Mega ball: 8.

    Has anyone won Mega Millions?

    There were no winners in Friday’s jackpot drawing. One ticket in Florida won the $1 million Match 5 prize and another ticket in Wisconsin won the $1 million Match 5 + Megaplier prize.

    The jackpot has now risen to $681 million ahead of the next drawing on Tuesday, September 3.

    How do you play Mega Millions?

    To purchase a ticket, you will need to go to your local grocery store, gas station, or convenience store. In some states, you can also purchase tickets online.

    To play, you have to choose six numbers. Five numbers are white balls from 1 to 70. The golden Mega Ball is a number between 1 and 25.

    If you think the odds are slim, ask for a “Quick Pick” or an “Easy Pick.” The computer will randomly generate the numbers for you.

    Players can add the “Megaplier” for $1, which can increase non-major prize winnings by two, three, four or five times. The Megaplier is drawn before the Mega Millions numbers on Tuesdays and Fridays.

    There are 15 Megapiler balls in total:
