The organizing committee and the sports association announced on Tuesday that the values ​​at some points of the swimming course exceeded acceptable limits.

They have decided to hold the men’s triathlon on Wednesday, after the women’s triathlon, but both races still need to be tested.

Events featuring athletes swimming in the Seine were one of the highlights of the Games, but water quality deteriorated after rain on Friday and Saturday, causing training sessions to be cancelled.
