Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Fight Odds: Who Is Favored to Win?

play

Fight week has finally arrived for Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, and both believe they will beat each other when they meet Friday for their highly anticipated exhibition bout at AT&T Stadium as part of a boxing event on Netflix.

“Hey, I respect your opinion, but it’s just my time,” Paul told Tyson in a clip recently released by Most Valuable Promotions. “The universe knows, the gods know, I know, and you will know, plain and simple.”

“Next week,” Tyson said back. “We’ll see.”

“I believe this is going to be great for boxing,” he added, “and I believe I am going to win.”

The mystery surrounding their self-confidence underlies much of the intrigue surrounding this spectacle. This is the first time Tyson, 58, has been in the ring since an exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020 and he suffered health problems that already had to postpone this fight with Paul.

Paul, 27, has lost just once in a series of exhibition matches against various opponents, successfully combining his status as a YouTube star with an increasingly lucrative career in the ring. But he has never fought in the heavyweight division and has never met anyone with Tyson’s reputation in boxing, even though that reputation was largely built over thirty years ago.

Here’s a look at the current odds as fight week approaches for Tyson vs. Paul here, including which boxer is the clear favorite to win the fight on Friday, November 15:

Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul battles the odds

As of Monday, November 11, BetMGM has set the following odds for the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight:

  • Paul wins: -250

The Tyson vs. Paul fight was initially announced last March and scheduled for July 20. Tyson’s health problems forced the event to be postponed until November 15.

Most Valuable Promotions has gradually announced six more matches for the fight card, starting last April with the announcement that Taylor and Serrano would serve as the co-main event. Their first fight in April 2022, which Taylor won via split decision, was the first women’s boxing match to headline an event at Madison Square Garden.
