Playing their first game since Giannis Antetokounmpo turned the team’s competitive heat on, the Milwaukee Bucks host the defending champion Boston Celtics at the Fiserv Forum on Sunday afternoon.

The Bucks suffered a loss to the New York Knicks on Friday night, dropping them to 2-7 on the year, while the Celtics edged past Brooklyn in overtime that same night to improve to 8-2.

Boston defeated Milwaukee 119-108 at TD Garden on Oct. 28, but it was – at the time – the best game the Bucks have played. They had limited Celtics stars Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum and softened the Celtics’ voluminous three-point shooting — but backup Payton Pritchard single-handedly pushed the Celtics ahead by making eight three-pointers of his own. The Bucks regulars earned just six as a group.

Does Giannis play?

Yes, per head coach Doc Rivers. The Bucks star was listed as probable because he was playing with tendinopathy in his right kneecap. It is highly unlikely that he would call up the team and then miss the next game. He has played the last two games with the injury and while his shooting has been affected, he has still been dominant at the rim.

What channel is the Bucks game on?

Although the game starts at 2:30 PM CT, it is not a nationally televised game. The game will air locally on FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin, with Lisa Byington, Marques Johnson and Melanie Ricks in conversation.
