Montana 2024 Presidential Election Live Results

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will face off in Montana for the state’s four Electoral College votes. Trump’s pitch to voters focused on the economy, immigration and crime. Since taking over as Democratic standard-bearer after President Joe Biden resigned, Harris has argued she would usher in a new era and has campaigned on improving the healthcare economy, protecting abortion rights and safeguarding democracy. The conservative state has voted for Trump in the last two elections. In 2020, Trump won Montana with 57% of the vote, to Biden’s 41%. In 2016, Trump won Montana with 57%, compared to Hillary Clinton’s 36%. Montana is a historically red state when it comes to the presidency, having voted for only two Democratic candidates in the past 72 years: Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964 and Bill Clinton in 1992.
