MISSOULA, Mont. — Montana Millionaire tickets sold out in less than three hours.

The Montana Millionaire started Friday and with it came odds to win a million dollars.

Last year, tickets sold out within six hours of going on sale.

Ticket sales started on Friday, November 1 at 5:30 am.

There was a mad dash to every supermarket and gas station for tickets to Montana Millionaire.

Now in its 18th year, the lottery is bigger than ever as the state has increased the number of tickets they sell to 500,000. They also added another chance to win $1 million, bringing the total number of winners to four.

The $250,000 drawing will take place on December 2 and the $1 million grand prize drawing will take place on December 26.
