Morgan Vrijman And Clint Eastwood had quite the Hollywood reunion recently! The Million dollar baby costars posed for photos together at the 2024 Monterey Jazz Festival last month.

On Monday, October 14, Morgan, 87, reflected on the experience of attending the event and the special honor of presenting Clint, 94, with the first Clint Eastwood Award for Cultural Leadership.

“It was a great pleasure to present my friend, Clint Eastwood, with the first Clint Eastwood Award for Cultural Leadership this past weekend at the @MontereyJazzFestival,” he captioned a photo with Clint on Instagram. “Clint is a real musician: pianist, composer and jazz lover! We had a great time listening to the incredible music of Kyle Eastwood and Mavis Staples! @KyleEastwood @DatH2O @LoriMcCreary #jazz.”

Fans loved seeing the two costars reunite for the special occasion.

One person commented: “Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman are two legends together, thank you for the valuable marks you have left on cinema.”

Another wrote: “The legendary legends.”

Producer Lori McCreary also reflected on her experiences at the event with the two Hollywood legends.

“Had a fantastic time at the @MontereyJazzFestival. My business partner @MorganFreeman presented our friend, Clint Eastwood, with the first Clint Eastwood Award for Cultural Leadership,” she wrote. “I also had the pleasure of seeing @KyleEastwood, @MavisStaples and other amazing artists perform! #TheEastwoodSymphonicProject.”

Morgan and Clint didn’t just work together on the 2004 films Million dollar babybut they shared the screen in the 1992 film Unforgivable also. Morgan also starred in the 2009 biographical sports film Invictusdirected by Clint.

The Riding with Mrs. Daisy actor spoke about his experiences working with Clint Invictus.

“I think Clint is an actor’s director. He doesn’t direct actors. He directs movies. He hires actors, and that’s your job,” Morgan said. RTE in June 2023. “And that’s what I love about him is that you establish your own character; you play it and do what the scene calls for. (He’ll) set up the scene. Cameras will be where we want them. Lights will be where we want them to be. And go for it.”

“He never says action, and he never says cut. He’s his own person on a movie set,” he added. “Great. I begged him to direct Invictus. It’s one of the few films he directed that he didn’t star in.”

Clint is currently preparing for the world premiere of his latest film, Juror #2on October 27.

“Clint wants the film to speak for itself, and for the film’s popular stars to do the publicity,” an insider said. Closer in June of the Academy Award winner’s relaxed approach to promoting the film. “The talk show circuit doesn’t appeal to him, and he’s all about letting the art stand on its own and letting the chips fall where they may. He knows he has broken records, defied all odds and gone further than almost any director, just in terms of years. That’s enough for him and he doesn’t need any more pats on the back.”
