Morgan Wallen reaches another very special milestone

Morgan Wallen has been sharing singles lately as he prepares to release his fourth album. No title or release date has been revealed yet, but with a handful of songs already achieving huge success in the world, it’s only a matter of time before a full collection is properly announced.

While fans of the country superstar wait for a full release, Americans are still listening to one of his most successful releases. Dangerous (officially titled Dangerous: the double album) was released over three and a half years ago, but it’s still performing incredibly well – and as of this week it has reached a special milestone.

Dangerous has spent 200 weeks on the Billboard 200 as of this frame. The set is Wallen’s second to reach this milestone, which is far from guaranteed for any project, even those from big-name artists.

Wallen’s debut album If I know me was his first to reach 200 turns Billboards ranking of the most consumed albums in the US. This star-studded release has now been on the charts for 319 weeks, and remains that way to this day. This time around, the Grammy nominee’s first offering narrowly stays within the top half of the 200 slot.

Dangerous is not only present somewhere on the Billboard 200, but is actually on the rise, living much closer to the top than most titles could manage after so much time on the chart. Wallen’s second project rises from number 21 to number 18 as it celebrates reaching several hundred frames on the competition list.

Luminate reported this in the last tracking period Dangerous another 28,500 equivalent units moved. That figure includes fewer than 500 sales, as streams of the 30 songs from the lengthy studio effort keep the title afloat.

Dangerous improves on the Billboard 200, but it is not Wallen’s highest-charting album at this time. One thing at a time drops slightly from No. 8 to No. 10, once again earning a stay in the most exalted region, even after nearly a year and a half on the list.
