Nadeem Khan visits ECB High Performance Centre in Loughborough | Press Release

Loughborough, July 30, 2024: We had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Nadeem Khan, Director of High Performance for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), for a follow-up visit to DineticQ’s facilities and biomechanical lab at the England and Wales Cricket Board High Performance Centre in Loughborough. This visit marked an important step towards improving the training and development of Pakistan’s fast bowlers, with a focus on injury prevention and performance enhancement.

During his visit, Mr. Nadeem Khan met with key figures at DineticQ including Professor Mark King, Founder of DineticQ, Mr. Laurence Blair, CEO and Mr. Ali Ehsan, Founder of Socho Cricket. Discussions focused on the specialized services that DineticQ offers to fast bowlers and developing the skills of fast bowling coaches through specialized biomechanics courses.

“The partnership with DineticQ represents a significant advancement in our approach to player development and performance optimization,” said Mr. Nadeem Khan. “By integrating advanced biomechanical insights into our training programs, we can further enhance the capabilities of our fast bowlers and coaches.”

DineticQ, known for its cutting-edge approach to sports science and athlete performance, offers a bespoke Athlete Management Program in an ICC-approved biomechanical laboratory. The services discussed include tailored training regimes and biomechanical assessments and AI, specifically designed for fast bowlers, with the aim of improving their efficiency and reducing the risk of injuries.

The visit underscores PCB’s commitment to adopting innovative and scientific methods to enhance the skills of Pakistani cricketers. The discussions during the visit laid the foundation for the provision of DineticQ customised services to PCB athletes as part of the ongoing 5-year contract.
