The investigation into a false prosecutor accused of fraud and impersonation is being expanded. Police in Bangkok arrested the suspect last Thursday during a lecture at a high school in Nonthaburi. He is accused of illegal impersonation, fraud and importing false information into a computer system. Checks revealed that Mr Mongkol had unofficially advised a senior prosecutor. The investigation is being expanded and witnesses will be questioned tomorrow.


40 former senators who filed a petition with the Constitutional Court seeking to dismiss Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin for appointing a minister with a criminal record will submit their final statements by the end of this month.
