The Netflix adaptation will be directed by Avengers returnees Anthony and Joe Russo, and according to the streamer, it will be set in an alternate, retro-futuristic version of the 1990s, exploring life in a society where sentient robots that resemble cartoons and mascots, who once served peacefully among the people, now live in exile after a failed uprising.”

It features quite a stacked cast, including Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Woody Norman, Giancarlo Esposito and Stanley Tucci, along with the voice work of Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Hank Azaria, Colman Domingo and Alan Tudyk.

The electrical condition will be released on Netflix on March 14, 2025.
