New Mexico 2024 election results: Kamala Harris wins the state

Kamala Harris wins in New Mexico. This victory adds five electoral votes to the Democratic Party’s total.
Support for Harris was strong in the state’s more populous areas, surpassing that of conservative regions.
Although Harris did not campaign in New Mexico, prominent Democrats, including second-term Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and members of the state’s congressional delegation, advocated for her.
New Mexico has increasingly favored Democrats over the past two decades. George W. Bush was the last Republican presidential candidate to win the state, winning in 2004.
